Add a Day of Fishing to Your Cruise StopMarch 30, 22 Cruise Ship Update
The CDC will no longer be issuing Covid warnings for cruising. We’re getting there!
No Need To Fight Windy Days and Rough Waters!
Snook, Cubera Snapper, Tarpon, Barracuda, Goliath Groupers (Jewfish), Jack Carvelle, and more inhabit the jungle rivers of Belize. Our Bonefish are unusually tame and provide excellent targets for the fly and spin fisherman, whether novice or pro. The thousands of acres of flats are also home to the highly sought and elusive permit.
Fishing Day Includes:
A licensed professional guide / boat captain, boat, spinning and conventional equipment, tackle, ice, soft drink, and lunch on the boat. We will get you back to the cruise ship tender area in plenty of time for you to catch your cruise departure. Artificial baits are commonly used and our guides carry cast-nets to get live bait as needed and when available. You will need to get off the cruise as quickly as possible to maximize your day. We adjust your fishing schedule according to your cruise ship port schedule. We are going to do everything we can to show you the BEST ACTION possible so we can lure you back for a full week of Action Belize! Fly fishermen generally pack their own fly rods.
OUR GOAL is to give you the best day in Belize possible as we want you back with us in the future. Action Belize is in this for the long-term…celebrating over 35 years of great service, and BELIZE IS THE ONLY THING WE DO!
We are NOT affiliated with the cruise ship operations and are definitely NOT your typical cruise ship tourist trap. Action Belize packages are the best thing going anywhere – airline vouchers, service, and value; we are constantly striving to be your #1 Belize choice!
Change of Schedule:
There is always a remote chance your cruise will reschedule the route or Belize arrival time after you get under way. We always try to work out the new schedule and will be waiting for you on your new arrival date and time. If the cruise ship fails to arrive, we will refund all deposits.
Boats:
River boats are center console with live wells and bimini tops, ranging from 23-25 feet and powered by dependable YAMAHA. Ladies…Most fishing ladies understand that these are open fishing boats with no restroom on board… shore leave (roughing it in the jungle) is available as well as the infamous “bucket” maneuver.
Tipping:
Our guides will work hard for you. Tipping the guide is appropriate. A suggested minimum tip is $40 – 45. (3 per boat sharing tip – $15 each)
